What You'll Do:
- Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner, serving as a consultant throughout the buying journey.
- Master the art of needs assessment to match the perfect vehicle—whether it's from our Quality Pre-Owned selection or the flexible Lease-It-Own-It program—with the customer's financial and lifestyle requirements.
- Proactively follow up with potential leads and past customers via phone.
- Conduct phone calls with a clear, defined goal for each conversation (e.g., setting an appointment, gathering key information, or closing a deal).
- Guide customers through the vehicle selection process, showcasing both our standard inventory and the flexible Lease-It-Own-It program.
- Conduct test drives and effectively demonstrate vehicle features.
- Negotiate and finalize sales, ensuring a smooth and transparent transaction.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and financing options, especially regarding the Lease-It-Own-It structure.

Sales Consultant Schedule (5-Day Work Week):
The ideal candidate will work a consistent 5-day schedule within our operating hours, guaranteeing two full days off each week.
Our store hours are:
- Monday: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Tuesday through Friday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right motivated candidate who has a customer-first mindset.
- Excellent phone skills with the ability to maintain professional and goal-oriented conversations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- High level of energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with the Defiance, Ohio area is a plus!
