QA Automation Engineer

Now is an ideal time to join our team as a QA Automation Engineer. We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to design and implement automated testing frameworks for web, iOS, and Android platforms. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality through robust automation strategies. You’ll do all this in an environment of excellence, trust, and to the highest ethical standards.

This position is required to work on-site in our Chicagoland (Glenview, IL) office most days. Everyone receives 3 flexible remote days per month and 6 additional Friday PTO days each year! And, we offer half-day Fridays - every Friday!

This is what you'll be doing:

• Design and implement automation frameworks for web and mobile platforms.
• Develop API automation using Postman.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain test environments.
• Perform regression, functional, and smoke testing across platforms.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test strategies.
• Partner with QA team members to expand test coverage, share best practices, and continuously improve testing processes.
• Mentor QA team on creation and review of testing automation scripts.
• Complete manual testing as needed.

• 3–5 years of QA automation experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, Playwright, and mobile-specific tools (XCUITest/Espresso).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools.
• SmartBear/Test Complete experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and documentation skills using tools like Jira and Confluence.

The pay range provided is not a guarantee of compensation. The range reflects potential pay for the job grade for this role at the time of this posting. Compensation will depend on several factors such as specific competencies, relevant education and experience, qualifications, and industry certifications. Compensation ranges are subject to change and may be higher or lower than the range described above.
