Conservation Specialist

Guarantee Trust Life Insurance Company (GTL) is currently seeking a Policy Conservation Specialist to join our team!

This position is required to work on-site in our Chicagoland (Glenview, IL) office most days. Everyone receives 3 flexible remote days per month and 6 additional Friday PTO days each year! And, we offer half-day Fridays – every Friday!

The Policy Conservation Specialist is responsible for meeting production standards and a retention quota to ensure GTL's Key Results are achieved. The person in this position will also provide on­going feedback on what is going well and areas for improvement/growth.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Provide customers with policy information or opportunities to lower premiums in order to retain coverage
• Provide superior customer service
• Compliance with company policies
• Identify process improvement opportunities
• Ability to make independent decisions, multi­task and prioritize tasks
• Ability to work well with other internal departments to meet company goals
  
  

Qualifications

Education and Skills:

• High school graduate
• Outstanding telephone skills, including voice tone and courtesy
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proven written communication and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills
• Knowledge of Health & Life Insurance products a plus
• Licensed Agent a plus
• Recent conservation/customer service experience a plus
  
  

The pay range provided is not a guarantee of compensation. The range reflects potential pay for the job grade for this role at the time of this posting. Compensation will depend on several factors such as specific competencies, relevant education and experience, qualifications, and industry certifications. Compensation ranges are subject to change and may be higher or lower than the range described above.
