Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
- Conduct quality control inspections on goods received and prior to being shipped
- Manage backorders or order discrepancies to resolution
- Assist in the overall organization, tracking, and maintenance of company assets
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum efficiency and space utilization.
- Manage relationships with shipping carriers and suppliers.
- Source competitive buyouts for applicable goods for cost savings purposes
- Track and report key performance metrics, such as order accuracy and delivery times.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce operational costs.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure workplace.
- Coordinate with other departments to meet delivery deadlines and customer expectations.
- Experience in warehouse management within a manufacturing environment.
- Management of tools (Maintenance, testing, certification) and safety equipment (Testing and certify/testing equipment)
