Responsibilities
In this role, you will support the VDC (Virtual Design & Construction) team and learn how to create and coordinate electrical system models. Responsibilities include:
- Assist in creating and updating 3D models of electrical systems (such as conduit and cable tray)
- Learn to navigate BIM models and support coordination efforts
- Help apply basic dimensions and notes to drawings using company standards
- Follow established templates and file organization practices
- Attend coordination meetings and support the team in resolving design issues
- Work under the guidance of a supervisor or experienced team member
We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn and grow in this field.
- Basic familiarity with design or construction software such as Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, or similar tools (training will be provided)
- Interest in Building Information Modeling (BIM) or construction technology
- General understanding of electrical systems or willingness to learn
- Ability to read basic diagrams or drawings with guidance
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Work closely with supervisors and team members in a collaborative environment
- Ask questions, seek feedback, and apply what you learn
- Participate in meetings as a learning contributor
- Develop an understanding of how designs translate to real-world construction
