Mon-Fri 10:30a-7p, w/ on call rotation
Scope of Responsibility
OR Circulators provide assessment and plan for individualized patient care. They communicate with physicians, unit Directors and co-workers as appropriate regarding changes in the patients’ condition or response to treatment. As well as perform general nursing duties in all settings with minimal supervision and participate in performance improvement activities.
Responsible to the Executive Director of Perioperative Services
- Education
- Associate Degree Nurse or Bachelor of Science Nursing
Training and Experience- Current licensure with the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
- Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider
- Obtains and maintains ACLS within 6 months of employment
- Obtains and maintains PALS within 6 months of employment
- 1 year previous experience preferred
