Scope of Responsibility

Registered Nurses provide nursing care to a group of patients for a designated time frame and will routinely lead team of care providers.

Responsible to Director of ICU

• Education

• • Associates Degree Nurse or Bachelor of Science Nursing Degree
• 
  Training and Experience
• • Current registration with the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
  • Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider
  • Obtains and maintains American Heart Association ACLS within 6 months of hire
  • Obtains and maintains American Heart Association PALS within 6 months of hire
  • 1 - 2 years previous critical care experience preferred
