GuacAmigos is an exciting authentic Mexican food concept in the heart of beautiful Newport Beach along the waterfront.The restaurant combines a breezy, upscale casual atmosphere with bold Mexican flavors and bursts of colorful Latin accents within. Position Summary

The Dishwasher works as member of the Back of House team, maintaining kitchen work areas and equipment, and ensuring the cleanliness and orderly organization of plates and utensils. The Dishwasher may be required to assist in food preparation procedures.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assist Team Members in creating an outstanding experience for every guest, every time.
• Scrape and pre-rinse food from dirty dishes and place them in dish washing machine.
• Wash pots, pans and trays by hand and/or machine.
• Remove trash and garbage to dumpster area.
• Clean work area tables, walls, refrigerator equipment, cooking equipment and floors.
• Clean garbage cans and trash receptacles.
• Assemble, maintain and break down the dish machine.
• Assist Team Members when needed.

Position Requirements:

• Must have the physical abilities to carry out the functions of the job descriptions.
• Ability to place plates, utensils, pans and cases on both high and low shelves.
• Able to respond in emergency situations to avoid imminent danger to self and others.
• Must be able to work in a team environment and effectively communicate with others as a part of the team.
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to ten or more hours and navigate throughout the restaurant, be able to lift 10-50 pounds, use motion that entails pushing, pulling, stretching, bending, stooping, twisting, and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists.
• Must be able to visibly discern cleanliness, and safety concerns.
• Hours may vary. Team members must be able to work a flexible schedule.
• Must be able to work evenings, late nights, weekends and holidays.
