This position requires strong phlebotomy skills, excellent communication, and the ability to deliver consistent, accurate work while supporting daily operational needs.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily activities accurately and on schedule under the direction of the area supervisor.Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-focused environment.Confidently perform forensic and clinical specimen collection following approved procedures.Prepare, process, and document specimens with precision and adherence to quality standards.Maintain required records, documentation, and compliance guidelines.Promote a positive image to patients, clients, colleagues, and the general public.Deliver quality, error-free work while meeting expectations in a fast-paced environment.Work independently with limited on-site supervision.Demonstrate excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.Remain flexible for weekends, holidays, on-call assignments, and overtime as needed.Required ExperienceMinimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience.Strong customer service background (retail or service environment preferred).Keyboard/data entry skills required.Nice-to-Have Experience1 years of phlebotomy experience.Experience in clinical or laboratory settings.Prior medical assistant or related healthcare support experience.Required SkillsPhlebotomy (including pediatric & geriatric)Specimen processing and documentationPatient communication and customer servicePreferred SkillsClinical data entryStrong organizational abilitiesIndependent work capabilityForensic specimen handlingAdditional SkillsConfidentiality complianceAccuracy in patient information handlingSafe, professional clinical environment maintenanceFlexibility for alternative shifts and weekendsProcess excellence and organizational commitmentPositive representation to patients and the publicEducation & CertificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).Valid New York credentials/licensure as applicable.BenefitsMedical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans401k Retirement FundAbout the CompanyA leading provider of diagnostic information services, leveraging the world’s largest clinical laboratory database to empower healthier lives.
