This role supports several locations and may oversee daily activities, guide team members, and provide onboarding for new staff or new client sites. The Phlebotomist III – Float must demonstrate exceptional technical, customer service, and leadership skills to support high-volume and high-complexity practices.Key Responsibilities:Perform high-quality venipuncture and specimen preparation in accordance with established procedures.Provide coverage across multiple locations including PSC, mobile, long-term care, and in-office phlebotomy sites.Create an atmosphere of trust and confidence with patients through clear communication and safe practice.Ensure all daily PSC/mobile/IOP activities are completed accurately and on schedule.Mentor, coach, and support new employees; provide onboarding support to new client sites.Act as point of contact for staff and communicate updates to group leads or supervisors.Lead one or more PSRs onsite when needed.Work with high-complexity or high-volume practices requiring advanced phlebotomy expertise.Collaborate with Sales, Laboratory Testing Services, IT Connectivity, Billing, and Logistics for specialty or complex test orders.Navigate multiple priorities in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.Required Education:High school diploma or equivalentMedical assistant or paramedic training preferredPhlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WARequired Experience:5 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections3 years PSC/IOP experience preferredCustomer service experience preferredKeyboarding/data entry skillsRequired Skills:Advanced phlebotomy skills (pediatric/geriatric/capillary)Multi-site floating and coveragePatient communication & customer servicePreferred Skills:Medical assistant or paramedic backgroundPSC/IOP operationsExperience supporting high-volume clinical workflowsAdditional Skills:Leadership and mentoringComplex practice supportCollaboration with cross-functional internal teamsOnboarding new staff and new client sitesHigh-volume multitasking and prioritizationBenefits:Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans401k Retirement FundAbout the Company:Leading provider of diagnostic information services empowering healthier lives.
