Social Worker – Adult Behavioral Health (Days) - Detroit, MI

Position Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Social Workers or Crisis Therapists to provide crisis intervention and intensive case management services for adults with serious mental illness and/or co-occurring substance use disorders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a trauma-informed, person-centered approach and a strong commitment to serving vulnerable populations in both in-person and telehealth settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive assessments.
- Develop and monitor Individualized Plans of Service (IPOS).
- Cultural sensitivity and a non-judgmental, strengths-based approach are essential.
- Provide face-to-face and/or telehealth services, crisis interventions, and safety planning.
- Participate in on-call rotation based on program needs.
- Attend regular supervision, team meetings, and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counselling (required).
- Michigan licensure (LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, LLPC, LLP, or TLLP) or eligibility to obtain within 60 days of hire.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record; must obtain a Michigan Chauffeur’s License within 30 days of hire.
- Experience working with adults with serious mental illness (internships accepted).
- Must obtain Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) and SATS credentials within 120 days of hire.
- CAADC credential or approved MCBAP Development Plan (required within 6 weeks of hire).
