Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) contract assignment in Illinois. The ideal candidate should be skilled in managing patients requiring close monitoring and possess strong clinical judgment, documentation accuracy, and compassionate patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients’ physical, emotional, and spiritual needs
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care in coordination with the interdisciplinary team
- Provide patient education and communicate instructions clearly
- Recognize and report patient condition changes using nursing clinical judgment
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Participate in continuing education and support a positive work environment
Requirements
- Active RN License – State of Illinois (Must be current)
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Step-Down experience
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Ability to work Night Shifts
- EPIC experience preferred
