Job Summary
GTS Physical Therapy Core & Pelvic Floor is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant who is interested in developing specialized skills in pelvic health.
Our Mountain Home clinic provides personalized care for women and men experiencing pelvic pain, core weakness, bladder or bowel concerns, pregnancy and postpartum changes, and other pelvic health conditions.
Pelvic health experience is preferred but not required. We are looking for a PTA who is genuinely interested in this specialty, eager to learn, and committed to providing a respectful and comfortable patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled treatment under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist
- Carry out individualized plans of care for pelvic health and related orthopedic conditions
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities
- Reinforce education regarding movement, strength, body mechanics, and home exercise programs
- Monitor patient responses and communicate progress to the supervising physical therapist
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Maintain a private, welcoming, and judgment-free treatment environment
- Discuss sensitive health concerns with compassion, professionalism, and discretion
- Participate in pelvic health training and continued professional development
- Follow all clinical, ethical, and patient-privacy standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Arkansas PTA license or eligibility for Arkansas licensure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, dependable, professional, and eager to learn
- Comfortable working with patients who may have sensitive or personal health concerns
- Interest in pelvic health, core rehabilitation, and whole-person care
- Pelvic health experience or continuing education is a plus but not required
