What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boat Painter / Finisher position at GTO Performance Airboats?
GTO Performance Airboats is hiring an experienced Boat Painter / Finisher to help prepare, paint, and finish custom boats. Experience painting boats, vehicles, trailers, or other high-quality finished products is preferred.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing surfaces for paint, including sanding, cleaning, masking, and priming
- Mixing and applying paint, coatings, and finishes
- Performing touch-ups, detail work, and final finish inspections
- Maintaining spray equipment, tools, and work areas
- Working with the production team to meet build schedules
- Producing clean, professional-quality finished work
Qualified candidates should have:
- Experience painting boats, automotive, marine, or industrial products
- Knowledge of surface preparation and paint application
- Ability to produce clean, consistent finish work
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable work ethic and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work safely in a shop environment
