Experienced Overnight Lead Stocker

GTM is looking to hire an experienced Lead Stocker to work overnights. The hours are from 12:15am to 8:45am and occasionally you will work 4am-12:30am.

You must have the drive to work in a fast paced environment and have to motivate your team. Must have a positive attitude and a can do attitude as well.

Must have 5 years experience in the retail industry.

Summary

Supervises and participates in the orderly flow of merchandise from the stock rooms to the sales floor. Plans and executes flow to maximize sales by providing a full sales floor merchandised to standards. Promotes safe behaviors and a safe environment to work in.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Regularly engages in communication of sales promotions, seasonal changes and product needs in order to create sales; by seeing to the timely and orderly placement of merchandise.
2. Develops skills of team members through timely training and performance evaluation. Engages with team members and promotes two way communication and follow up.
3. Observes team members and acts to encourage productive behaviors and discourage non productive behaviors. Is aware to members locations and duties as they work.
4. Monitors attendance and rest periods for necessary supervisory actions.
5. Exemplifies the expectations for a productive and responsible employee.
6. Participates in daily work scheduling and makes adjustment based upon business needs.
7. Able to provide feedback including any necessary discipline to team members.
8. Enforces standards of safety regarding team member behaviors and work conditions immediately.
9.Attends all Safety and Core Meetings, participating actively
10. Communicates product needs as well as fixture concerns.
11. Communicates and follows up on fixture and equipment maintenance needs.
12. Develops an Assistant Lead and back up personnel to key areas.
13. Enforces standards of health regarding cleanliness and date code as well as determining product is salable condition.
14. Provides a clear sense of purpose to each team member daily.
15. Maintains security standards in the off hours as well as regular business hours.
16. Acts upon any perceived violation, complaint or observation of the No Harassment policy. Reports any and all concerns immediately.
17. Understands ADA regulation and enforces compliance.
18. Enforces wage and hour regulations.
19. Displays initiative; the ability to make reasonable decisions based on business needs stemming from training, experience and policy.
20. Maintains good communication with all staff.
21. Enforces safe use and operation of equipment including box cutters and that pallet jacks and stock carts are not used in a manner as to damage fixtures.

Supervisory Responsibilities

1.Establish daily goals and celebrate the successes, while determining the action needed for unsuccessful results.
2. Be demanding and insist on equal efforts from team members.
3. Develop team members, determining strengths and weakness and giving necessary time and effort to individuals to improve and add to their responsibilities.

Education/Training

Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience

Prior leadership and sales experience in a product merchandising role required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
