What You'll Do
As a Commercial & Personal Lines Account Manager, you will:
- Provide accurate and timely communication to clients via phone, email, and written correspondence.
- Educate clients on insurance coverages, exclusions, exposures, and policy changes.
- Handle endorsements, renewals, cancellations, certificates, binders, and policy processing.
- Prepare applications and proposals for submission to insurance carriers.
- Market, renew, and re-market policies for new and existing accounts.
- Review policy audits and coordinate corrections between clients and carriers.
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records in a paperless environment.
- Attend client and prospect meetings as needed.
- Prioritize workflow to ensure timely and accurate processing of all transactions.
- Collaborate with team members to provide outstanding service and support.
What We're Looking For / Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as an Insurance Account Manager.
- Active Property & Casualty Producer License.
- Associate degree in Business or a related field.
- Strong understanding of commercial and personal insurance underwriting, coverage analysis, and rating.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work across multiple systems in a paperless environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to client satisfaction.
