Job Description: Generator Install Laborer
The Generator Install Laborer will assist the generator installation team with different install tasks. These tasks will include running gas line, assisting the electrician in running wire, digging, operating hand tools, and running equipment. Experience running gas line is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Gas Line Installation Experience
- Ability to learn and to follow directions
- Professional appearance
- Ability to perform physically demanding work on a consistent basis
- Valid driver's license.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in all phases of generator installation from:
- Setting the unit
- Assisting with electrical work
- Running the gas line
- Testing the unit
- Cleaning up the jobsite
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly pay $15 to $18 per hour depending on experience
- After 1 year of employment, 40 hours of paid vacation is awarded
- After 2 years of employment, 80 hours of paid vacation is awarded.
Schedule:
Normal work schedule is 4 days a week, 10 hours a day. Subject to change based on demand and weather conditions.
