Electronics Assembler
GTI Graphic Technology, a Newburgh based manufacturer seeks an Electronics Assembler to perform production operations related to the wiring and assembly of lighting equipment. This includes processes such as following drawings, schematics, and written instructions to wire a variety of lighting products. The role involves setting up, operating, and qualifying equipment while monitoring production processes and output quality.
Other duties assigned as necessary. Must be able to stand while working and adhere to all safety procedures, rules and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics, workstation instructions, and other documented processes
- Perform production activities to include cutting, bending, routing, crimping, soldering, and other assembly tasks required in the wiring of assemblies
- Assemble products utilizing various hand and power tools such as rulers, tape measures, cutters, drills, screwdrivers, pliers, and other tools as needed
- Meet throughput and cycle time targets for assigned operations
- Work independently once fully trained and certified
- Handle products according to established work instructions
Requirements:
- High school diploma required; associate degree or technical certification preferred
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and production demands
- Strong attention to safety, and dedication to quality
- Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset
