Key Responsibilities
- Manage production schedules based on weekly demand created by plant leadership.
- Communicate to supervisors, team leads, and operators daily, weekly, monthly production goals
- Emphasize organizational structure on the manufacturing floor and set clear expectations for each team and operator
- Supervise production staff and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules or resources as needed.
- Implement process improvements to boost efficiency of each operator and cell that fall within responsibility
- Coordinate with other production areas to ensure proper flow of information, materials, and finished product
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Train and motivate team members to achieve performance goals.
- Report on production metrics and suggest improvements to plant management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing or production management.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process optimization methodologies.
- Experience in fabrication, coatings, electro-mechanical assembly, complex assembly or integration
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to spend majority of time on the manufacturing floor
- Certification in project management or process improvement (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma).
- Experience with ERP systems and data analytics tools.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and regulatory compliance.
