Production Associate – Fabrication Shop

Job Overview

We are hiring Production Associates to support operations in a fabrication shop environment. This role assists with material handling, production support, fabrication prep, and general shop operations. Production Associates work alongside welders, fabricators, painters, and technicians to support the manufacturing and assembly of industrial components and structures.

This position is ideal for candidates with manufacturing, shop, construction, or industrial experience looking to grow within a fabrication or production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support fabrication and production teams with material movement and job staging
• Load and unload raw materials, fabricated parts, and finished components
• Prepare materials for welding, fabrication, painting, or assembly processes
• Assist with basic shop tasks, including grinding, cleaning, and part preparation
• Maintain shop organization, cleanliness, and safety compliance
• Transport materials between workstations and production areas
• Follow shop drawings, work instructions, and safety guidelines
• Support quality and production teams to meet daily manufacturing goals
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Experience in a fabrication shop, manufacturing facility, or industrial environment preferred
• Ability to perform physical work in a shop setting
• Comfortable working around welding, cutting, and fabrication equipment
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow safety procedures
