What are the responsibilities and job description for the Global Procurement Coordinator- Sheet Metal position at GTI Fabrication?
Transactional Purchasing Support
• Confirm pricing, quantities, dates, and vendor acknowledgements
• Update supplier delivery dates and order notes accurately
Reporting & Visibility
• Maintain reports on open POs, shortages, late deliveries, and supplier commitments
• Provide daily updates to buyers, planners, and leadership teams
• Support KPI reporting related to supplier delivery and purchasing execution
Cross-Functional Coordination
• Communicate with Receiving, Warehouse, AP, and Planning teams to resolve issues
• Support documentation for new vendors, onboarding, and compliance records
• Assist with scheduling supplier calls and meetings
Required Qualifications
• 1–3 years coordination, purchasing support, customer service, or admin experience
• Strong Excel, ERP, and data accuracy skills
• Strong communication and follow-up discipline
Preferred Qualifications
• Manufacturing or supply chain environment experience preferred
