Entry-Level Management Associate

GTC Energy is hiring a full-time Management Associate to join our growing team in Buffalo Grove. This Management Associate opportunity is designed for motivated individuals who want to launch a long-term career in business while gaining hands-on experience in customer engagement, leadership, and business operations. As a Management Associate, you'll begin by working directly with customers inside retail locations, helping homeowners compare energy solutions while building a strong foundation in communication and sales.

As you grow, every Management Associate gains exposure to the business beyond the customer interaction. You'll learn how revenue growth, client partnerships, brand partnerships, team leadership, and day-to-day business operations work together to support long-term success. Through mentorship and hands-on experience, each Management Associate develops the skills needed to contribute both on the front end of the business and behind the scenes while supporting overall sales performance and business growth.

Responsibilities of the Management Associate

• Meet directly with customers inside retail locations to introduce energy solutions that fit their household needs and budget.
• Guide customers through energy plan comparisons and enrollment while delivering a professional, transparent sales experience.
• Learn consultative sales techniques that help customers make informed decisions with confidence.
• Collaborate with fellow Management Associate team members to achieve individual and team sales goals while maintaining outstanding customer experiences.
• Develop an understanding of revenue growth strategies, customer acquisition, and business performance metrics.
• Assist with team development initiatives while learning leadership, coaching, and performance management fundamentals.
• Gain exposure to client relationships, brand partnerships, and business development efforts that support company growth.
• Participate in ongoing Management Associate training focused on leadership development, business operations, communication, and sales strategy.

Preferred Skills for the Management Associate

• Internship/work experience or coursework in Business Administration, Communications, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Management, or a related field is helpful but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in leadership, business development, management, or sales.
• Comfortable interacting with customers in face-to-face retail environments.
• Previous internship, campus leadership, retail, hospitality, customer service, or sales experience is a plus but not required.
• Positive attitude, coachable mindset, and willingness to learn.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with an interest in professional growth.
• Motivated to build a long-term career as a Management Associate while developing leadership, business, and sales expertise.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
