Looking for an IT Support Technician to work on site Lewisville, TX to work

NIGHT SHIFT.

We are seeking an IT Support and Testing Engineer to join our team, primarily focused on testing and troubleshooting IT systems, with minimal systems administration. This role supports major customers in the buildout of 5G radio networks. You will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and supporting production IT and enterprise IT systems in a Windows and Linux environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing & Troubleshooting: Focus on testing customer systems, identifying issues, and troubleshooting across IT systems, including production and enterprise environments.
  • Systems Administration: Minimal involvement with systems administration (Windows/Linux), but familiarity is helpful.
  • Production IT Support: Assist in monitoring, supporting, and troubleshooting production IT environments.
  • Automation Testing: Use low-code tools like Power BI and Windows PowerShell for scripting and automation. Lab testing experience is a plus, though tools and training will be provided.
  • Customer Collaboration: Work with major telecommunications customers to ensure the smooth deployment and performance of systems.

Tools & Technologies:

  • Operating Systems: Primarily Windows and Linux environments.
  • Scripting Languages: Power BI, Windows PowerShell, and low-code scripting tools.
  • Testing Tools: Training will be provided on the specific automation and testing tools in use.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience in IT support, particularly troubleshooting and production IT environments.
  • Background in lab testing or manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience with telecommunications systems or 5G network builds (preferred, but not required).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to quickly identify and resolve issues in production systems.
  • Experience with low-code scripting tools and a willingness to learn new technologies.
