GT Sales & Manufacturing is a family-owned manufacturer and distributor of a wide range of products and materials for industry and commerce. Our Mission is to provide world-class industrial supplies, products, fabricated parts and customer services to our customers. Working closely and reporting to the Divisional General Manager our Market Managers, are responsible to manage all aspects of services and operations in a specific market/area for GT Midwest.
Position Details:
Make Staffing and Performance Management Decisions for the Market Operations Team.
Provide regular coaching, feedback and development to team members. This includes performance evaluations, recognition and disciplinary action.
Train, Develop, Lead Market Team Members as well as providing informal and indirect leadership of other Team Members that work in the area.
Work with GT Management to help construct and meet profitable financial budgets of both the market area and division. Manage performance to produce solid financial results.
Promote a positive working environment focused on providing high levels of service and meeting key metrics with warehouse productivity, on time delivery, order accuracy, inventory management and sales.
Ensure consistent performance in alignment with Quality Procedures.
Capable and will work in various environments including our GT Warehouse, On-Site at Customers, and Mobile.
Manage and create consistent delivery schedules to our customers.
Lead the way in providing consistent “on-site” customer service including Vendor Managed Inventory, Industrial Vending, Kit Building, Line Stocking, Just in time fulfilment and more. Also, work with our sales team to effectively install and establish new “on-site” services and establish new programs.
Consistently work with sales teams to provide consistent and value added services that can profitably grow sales and market share and meet budgetary sales projects and forecasts.
Strive for always improving processes and continuously improving how we do things to drive productivity and value for our customers.
Call on and develop customer prospects to grow the top line.

Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experiences.
· 2 years previous leadership or supervisor experience within industrial distribution, warehousing or manufacturing.
· Ability to lift, slide, lower and handle up to 75 pounds.
