What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toddler Childcare Teacher position at GT Kids Daycare & Preschool?
We are seeking an experienced and educated individual to work in our toddler classroom! This individual should be motivated and love working with children. This is a full-time position.
Job Description:
- Use positive redirection when addressing behaviors in the classroom.
- Engage with children during play to encourage learning, social/emotional growth, and developing skills.
- Assist with diapering and potty training by following diapering and potty-training policies and procedures.
- Keep all daily, weekly, and monthly classroom/child paperwork up-to-date.
- Communicate with families at drop off, pick up, and parent/teacher conferences.
- Assist students in developing independence and motor skills.
Job Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in a childcare setting.
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:30 am and 5:30 pm.
- Must have a flexible schedule.
- Must obtain all state required certifications at the request of the Director.
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs or more.
- Must be able to move up and down stairs with ease.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
