This temporary contractor role is temp to hire.

On-Site role

This role directly manages and coordinates Purchasing and Sourcing activities for over 50 suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and cost optimization in support of data-driven demands, resulting in a 15% reduction in procurement costs and enhanced supply chain efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create and oversee all open purchase orders with assigned suppliers, ensuring timely processing from initiation of PO to delivery by leveraging NetSuite ERP; achieve 100% visibility and accuracy across procurement stages.
• Communicate order status and updates to internal stakeholders—including supply chain, warehouse, and accounting teams—while meticulously tracking all open orders (dates and quantities) in NetSuite; proactively resolve discrepancies and delays.
• Analyze supply and demand for assigned materials, executing expedited shipments or deferrals as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent stockouts.
• Develop and maintain supplier scorecards, measuring and driving on-time, in-full deliveries to designated distribution points, report performance metrics regularly to management. Conduct quarterly reviews with key suppliers.
• Monitor and update item master records in NetSuite for lead-time, lot size, and pricing changes, ensuring data integrity and supporting accurate procurement planning.
• Identify and evaluate new or existing suppliers to source high-quality materials that meet company standards; document and report sourcing outcomes for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams—including product development, warehouse, and customer service—to ensure seamless supply chain operations and resolve delivery challenges.

Work Activities & Tasks

• Conduct a thorough review of all assigned materials daily, weekly, and monthly, aiming for zero backorders; document findings and report any discrepancies immediately.
• Monitor and update NetSuite daily to ensure 100% accuracy of order status and inventory levels; verify all entries and correct errors within 24 hours.
• Review all open orders in NetSuite; track and update order status to maintain real-time visibility with zero discrepancies.
• Prioritize communication of supply gaps to management within 24 hours of identification, ensuring timely resolution and preventing potential stockouts.
• Monitor and communicate excess materials to the relevant teams weekly; aim to reduce surplus inventory by 10% each quarter.
• Collaborate with warehouse personnel to resolve delivery challenges and discrepancies within 48 hours of occurrence, tracking issues to closure.
• Resourcing existing products with new suppliers as needed to gain positive PPV. Consolidate suppliers during this exercise wherever possible to streamline operations.
• Source new products as assigned, delivering at least two innovative options per quarter that align with GT’s quality standards.
• Work with new product development to contribute at least three actionable ideas or design improvements per project cycle, supporting successful product launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• At least 5 years experience in Purchasing Processes and Purchase Management, and Sourcing
• NetSuite experience preferred
• Analytical Skills for data-driven decision-making
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Knowledge of golf industry products and suppliers is a plus
• Self-starter, self-motivated
