Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Faculty position located in Americus, GA, within the College of Business and Computing at Georgia Southwestern State University. The Faculty member will be responsible for developing and delivering academic courses, conducting research, and participating in service activities within the College and broader community. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate students, mentoring students, designing curricula, and maintaining professional and scholarly activity in both their teaching and research disciplines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in teaching and curriculum development, particularly in problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership-focused courses
• Demonstrated expertise in Management, Entrepreneurship, and/or Organizational Leadership is preferred
• Strong research and academic writing skills with a proven track record of scholarly contributions
• Commitment to student mentoring, academic advising, and fostering an inclusive learning environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Doctorate or terminal degree in Business or a related field is highly preferred
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to community engagement
• Prior experience in a university teaching role is an advantage
