GStek is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Supply Technician II opening providing support at our Redstone Arsenal, AL location.
Required:
- Minimum of 3 years logistics experience for projects involving electrical repair and installation, ordering, acquisition, distribution of material, equipment, and resources.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite and logistic based databases.
- Secret security clearance - Active (or recent within last 12 months)
Desired:
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Experience with Inside and Outside plant operations.
- Forklift qualified.
Job Description:
- Oversee on-hand material quantities for the Network Enterprise Center Regional. Ensure accurate accountability of all items purchased.
- Perform duties as the Vehicle Fleet custodian for 14 assigned vehicles ensure accurate maintenance records and timely repairs of all assigned vehicles.
- Research and purchase required materials using Corporate and government processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift and carry heavy items up to 50 pounds.
- Work at heights up to 20 feet above the deck using proper safety equipment.
- Extended periods of sitting and/or standing.
- Position may require bending, stooping, crouching, climbing ladders, reaching, pulling, and lifting.
- Able to operate a forklift (rotation of head, peripheral vision, etc.)
- Able to work in a warehouse environment.
