What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concierge (Floater) position at GSS?
A Concierge company in the NYC region is seeking pleasant, outgoing, customer service oriented, Concierge Agents to work out of their clients residential buildings.
The Concierge Agents will provide excellent customer service while assisting visitors, guests, patrons, tenants and employees with their personal services and requests. This position is the face and first impression of the facility and is expected to be, respectful, personable, and friendly.
This role is a floater position with the opportunity to be permanent.
Location: Locations can range from Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn.
Available shifts:
- 7-3pm
- 8-4pm
- 3-11pm
- 4-12am
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Answers phones from both internal guests and external customers
- Greets and interacts with visitors, guests, patrons, tenants, and employees on a regular basis
- Responds to questions and requests from tenants
- When asked, makes suggestions on nearby restaurants and activities Maintains a clean workstation
- Accepts and distributes messages and mail as necessary
- Handling packages – receiving, shipping, and distributing
- Develops and maintains relationships to ensure quality customer service Performs other duties as assigned by management
Minimum Requirements:
- Prior concierge experience highly preferred
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Must maintain a professional appearance
- Must be organized and able to multi-task
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Able to lift 15-40 lbs
Job Type: Part-time
