About the Role:
The Barista/Cafe Attendant plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all customers by preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages & food items. This position requires attentiveness to customer preferences and the ability to efficiently manage multiple orders while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The role also involves handling cash and electronic transactions accurately, ensuring smooth daily operations. Additionally, the Barista/Cafe Attendant contributes to inventory management by monitoring stock levels and communicating needs to management. Ultimately, this position is essential in fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages repeat business and customer satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a cafe or food service environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
