Lead DevOps Engineer.
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid Onsite)
Responsibilities:
- 15 years’ experience with distributed applications at scale in public cloud (AWS), or equivalent experience.
- Managing Docker container deployment and orchestration, including AWS EKS.
- 5 years of experience in public cloud (AWS) in building services using cloud native technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, serverless etc.
- Exposure to Azure cloud.
- Python/shell/bash experience required.
- Must have Gitlab Experience.
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure, including selecting appropriate cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), networking, storage, and compute resources
- Ensure cloud environments are secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations by implementing security controls, access management, and encryption
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications
- Must have exp in Authoring automated deployments using Terraform.
- Automated provision/orchestration of AWS resources
- System performance monitoring, reporting and optimization
- Experience with containers (Docker, EKS) and serverless (Lambda).
- Experience in implementing various AWS solutions like Data Sync, Batch Job, EMR
- Experience bootstrapping and automating the build of complete Kubernetes environments
- Experience with automated build in Jenkins or similar CI tools
- Experience in managing multiple AWS environments and the AWS ecosystem.
