Position Overview
We are looking for polished, dependable, and customer-focused Valet Attendants to join our team. In this role, you will be the first and last impression for guests, so professionalism, courtesy, and confidence are essential. The ideal candidate is responsible, well-spoken, and able to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests with professionalism, warmth, and courtesy
- Provide an exceptional first impression upon arrival and departure
- Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles in an efficient manner
- Assist guests with doors and directions when needed
- Maintain an organized, smooth, and professional valet operation
- Securely handle keys and follow all company procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests
- Represent Garden State Parking with a polished and professional appearance
- Assist with valet setup, including signage, cones, key boxes, and traffic flow
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and private events
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous valet, hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or guest service experience preferred
- Experience driving a variety of vehicles, including luxury vehicles, is a plus
- Ability to remain calm, polished, and professional in high-volume environments
