Valet Attendant — Garden State Parking

About the Role
As a Valet Attendant, you will greet guests, park and retrieve vehicles quickly and safely, manage keys and tickets accurately, and provide courteous, professional service throughout every shift. You'll be on your feet and moving the entire shift, often outdoors.
What You'll Do
- Greet every guest promptly with a professional, friendly attitude
- Park and retrieve guest vehicles safely and efficiently
- Handle keys, tickets, and vehicle logs with complete accuracy
- Open doors, assist with luggage or packages, and give clear directions
- Keep the valet stand and drive lane clean, organized, and moving
- Follow all safety, traffic, and company procedures without exception
Requirements — Non-Negotiable
Do not apply unless you meet ALL of the following:
- Previous hospitality or guest-service experience is REQUIRED (valet, hotel, restaurant, country club, or similar). Applications without verifiable hospitality experience will not be considered.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record — a motor vehicle record (MVR) check will be run on all candidates
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Professional, clean-cut appearance required at all times. We enforce strict grooming and uniform standards: neat, well-groomed hair and facial hair, clean pressed uniform, and a polished overall presentation. If you cannot commit to this standard every single shift, this is not the job for you.
- Reliability is mandatory. Show up on time, in uniform, every shift. No-call/no-shows are grounds for immediate termination.
Physical Demands
- Able to stand, walk, and jog/run for the duration of a full shift
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)
- Able to get in and out of vehicles of all sizes repeatedly throughout a shift
