Job Title: High-Rise Residential Valet Attendant
Location: Fort Lee, NJ
Shifts: Day (7:30a–3:30p), Evening (3:30p–11:30p), Overnight (11:30p–7:30a)
Schedule: 7 days/week coverage. Must be available for weekends and holidays.
Job Summary
Garden State Parking is seeking dependable, professional Valet Attendants to support a high-rise residential community in Fort Lee, NJ. This role requires safe vehicle handling, strong customer service, and strict key control. You’ll be part of a team that keeps the curbside and garage running smoothly at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide high-level customer service to residents, guests, and vendors
- Perform vehicle intake and retrieval while following all key control procedures
- Stage and park vehicles according to the garage layout and site rules
- Monitor curbside activity and communicate with teammates to avoid backups
- Maintain accurate ticketing/vehicle tracking and secure key storage
- Document vehicle condition concerns and complete incident reports when needed
- Coordinate with property management and security regarding daily operations
- Maintain professional appearance and a clean, organized work area
- Follow all safety standards and ensure pedestrian paths stay clear
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Prior valet, parking, hospitality, or security experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail (keys, tickets, damage documentation)
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure
- Able to stand for extended periods and work outdoors year-round
- Background check may be required by the property
Compensation
- Hourly pay with shift differentials for overnight shifts (based on experience)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
