Cutter/Insignia Die Cutter

**Job Summary: **The Die Cutter is responsible for choosing/using the correct die, as indicated by the job jacket information, and processing the correct stock with the correct die-cutting tool. By reading the information and looking over the printed work, the position is responsible for passing a high-quality product that meets quality standards to the next workstation. The Die Cutter may also be responsible to perform other duties as capable and assigned.**Duties and Responsibilities:**Take printed stock and cut to the proper dimensions as called for on the production orderOperate Die Cutting machines to make detailed custom cuts for various types of printed stockRead work order and verify all fabrication that needs to be accomplished before cutting has been completed prior to beginning the cutting processEnsure usage of proper cutting pressure in accordance with priorities set by leadershipReport any issues or problems relating to signage to managementReport any issues or problems relating to machine operational abilities to management and/or maintenanceMaintain all safety and cleanliness standardsUtilize forklift as needed**Education and Experience:**6 months’ experience with Die Cutting, Die making, Cutting or Router machines$17.00 for 1st shift and $17.50 for 2nd shift.**Qualifications, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:**Highly organized, with strong attention to detailManage large workloads, and maintain high quality and accuracy of workMeet deadlines and mitigate disruptions to workflowKnowledgeable in basic math, fractions, and percentageAbility to pass a basic skills testAbility to communicate (Read, speak, write, understand) in EnglishAble to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.Available for weekend work shifts & overtime as neededSafety conscious with ability to perform job functions in a safe mannerAbility to work alone and under minimal supervisionWork well on a team and contribute positively to GSP cultureYou should be proficient in:CNC ToolingID:qnkTyx
