What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hydrographic Surveyor position at GSOBA?
Map subsea pipeline corridors and cable routes with side-scan sonar and a sub-bottom profiler aboard a coastal survey vessel supporting offshore energy clients. You will mosaic sonar imagery, pick targets and seabed debris, log magnetometer contacts, and compile charts for engineering and permitting teams. Offshore experience, familiarity with USBL positioning, and the ability to stand watch on a rotating schedule at sea are required for this position.
