About The Role

GSM Services is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Operations Leader – Warehousing & Logistics to oversee the daily operations of two warehouse locations and ensure seamless delivery support for seven company divisions. This role is critical to our success and requires a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at cross-functional coordination, and is committed to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Inventory Operations

• Direct the daily operations of two warehouse facilities, ensuring optimal organization, workflow, and productivity.
• Maintain strict inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation processes.
• Oversee the proper handling, storage, and tracking of materials, equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs and implement continuous improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  
  

Logistics & Delivery Coordination

• Plan, coordinate, and manage delivery schedules supporting seven divisions across the company.
• Ensure on-time and accurate delivery of all materials, equipment, and supplies to job sites and internal departments.
• Partner with fleet operations to monitor vehicle usage, maintenance needs, and compliance requirements.
• Troubleshoot delivery challenges and proactively resolve delays or scheduling conflicts.
  
  

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10 warehouse and logistics professionals across both locations.
• Clearly communicate goals, expectations, and performance standards.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and support.
  
  

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce OSHA, company, and industry safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
• Oversee proper use of tools, equipment, and PPE within warehouse settings.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and internal operational policies.
  
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with internal departments—including Production, Purchasing, Facilities, and Field Operations—to support business goals and operational needs.
• Participate in company-wide planning discussions and provide insight into warehouse and logistics functions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve communication across teams.
  
  

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or operations management
• Proven leadership experience overseeing teams and managing daily operations
• Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Ability to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and drive process improvements
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and standard inventory practices
• Knowledge of safety regulations and warehouse best practices
  
  

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field
• Multi-site management experience
• Experience in construction, HVAC, or service-related industries
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
