Job Purpose:

The Assembler is responsible for producing quality components and finished products by accurately assembling parts and subassemblies. This role ensures that materials are prepared, assembled, inspected, and packaged in accordance with company standards and customer requirements. The Assembler plays a key role in maintaining efficient production flow, identifying defects, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment while supporting overall team productivity.

Job Purpose:

• Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
• Positions or aligns components and parts, either manually or with hoists.
• Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts.
• Cleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools.
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in shipping area. Daily duties may require winding, tacking, decaling, sealing, rolling, painting, drilling, ect.
• Identifying any defective items and handling them according to established procedures.
• Working with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products.
• Inventories tools, parts and supplies; contacts material handlers if supplies are needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Good communication skills.
• Physical fitness and strength to lift and operate heavy electrical machinery.

Education And Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Manufacturing or Production experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
