Duties
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature, accurately updating electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
- Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards.
- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral health support..
