Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Compensation:
- Local Pay Range: $30 - $34/ hr on W2
- Weekly gross pay rate: $1500 - $1640/ week (includes taxable and non-taxable amount)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Technician / Sterile Processing Technician for a 13-week travel assignment. This position will support both the Endoscopy Department and Sterile Processing Department (SPD) and requires a candidate with strong endoscope reprocessing and sterile processing experience in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform decontamination, cleaning, high-level disinfection, and sterilization of endoscopic equipment and surgical instruments.
- Reprocess flexible endoscopes according to manufacturer guidelines and infection control standards.
- Assemble, inspect, package, and sterilize instrument trays and medical equipment.
- Operate and monitor sterilization and endoscope reprocessing equipment.
- Maintain accurate sterilization and quality assurance documentation.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and distribution of sterile supplies.
- Assist with inventory management and support both Endoscopy and SPD operations.
- Float between Endoscopy and Sterile Processing departments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of recent Endoscopy and/or Sterile Processing experience.
- Previous travel experience required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- CBSPD or HSPA (CRCST) certification required.
- Strong experience with endoscope reprocessing and sterile processing workflows.
- Leadership experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail and knowledge of infection prevention standards.
Pay: $34.00 - $41.00 per hour
