Job Description |
Record to Report Architect – Finance Solution Architect Purpose: Lead transformation of ECC Finance to S/4 Finance.
Key Responsibilities: • Lead the overall Finance transformation strategy, defining the future-state finance operating model. • Own end-to-end Finance solution architecture across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Revenue Recognition, and Planning. • Design and govern the S/4HANA Finance data model, including Universal Journal (ACDOCA), organizational structures, chart of accounts, profit/cost centers, and financial master data standards. • Lead financial close, consolidation, and group reporting architecture. • Design Treasury, Cash Management, and Working Capital processes. • Establish finance controls, compliance, and governance frameworks (accounting standards, audit, tax, SOX, segregation of duties). • Define finance analytics and reporting strategy using S/4 Embedded Analytics, SAP Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). • Lead finance data migration, reconciliation, and cutover activities. • Serve as strategic advisor to Finance leadership and the CFO organization.
Required Skills: • S/4 Finance certification preferred. • 10–15 years of expertise in FI, CO, Asset Accounting, COPA, Group Reporting. • Strong business stakeholder engagement capabilities. • Knowledge in SAP Signavio required. • Knowledge in SAP Cloud ALM required. • Preferable if previously held a Solution Architect role.
Deliverables -Process Flows -Mentor and Knowledge transfer to client project team members -Participate as primary, co and/or contributing author on any and all project deliverables associated with their assigned areas of responsibility -Participate in data conversion and data maintenance -Provide best practice and industry specific solutions -Advise on and provide alternative (out of the box) solutions -Provide thought leadership as well as hands on technical configuration/development as needed. -Participate as a team member of the functional team -Perform other duties as assigned.
