Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team. The LPN will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and support residents under the supervision of an RN or physician. This role requires strong clinical skills, compassion, and a commitment to excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor and document vital signs and resident conditions.
- Report any changes in condition to the supervising RN or provider.
- Assist with nursing assessments and care plan updates.
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, and other clinical tasks within LPN scope.
- Support resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Ensure documentation is accurate and completed in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with CNAs, nurses, physicians, and therapy staff.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and HIPAA.
- Provide compassionate support and education to residents and families.
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in the state of Alabama (or compact).
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
