Mandatory Requirements to Apply
- Active Vermont RN License (or eligible to practice in Vermont before start)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) experience
- Previous triage experience required
- Current ACLS certification
- BLS certification (required)
- ENPC, TNCC, and CEN certifications are preferred
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and time management skills
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
- Perform patient assessments, triage, medication administration, and emergency interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver safe, timely patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
- Accurately document patient care while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and nursing standards.
