Job Description:
We are seeking an Enterprise Solution Architect – Manufacturing & Predictive Maintenance to join our client's team on a remote basis for a 6-month engagement.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Application Development.
Key Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities
- Lead regular reviews of the portfolio(s) to identify opportunities for improvement in the areas of stability, performance, and complexity reduction.
Deliverables
- Process Flows.
- Mentor and Knowledge transfer to client project team members.
- Participate as primary, co and/or contributing author on any and all project deliverables associated with their assigned areas of responsibility.
- Participate in data conversion and data maintenance.
- Provide best practice and industry specific solutions.
- Advise on and provide alternative (out of the box) solutions.
- Provide thought leadership as well as hands on technical configuration/development as needed.
- Participate as a team member of the functional team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- If you have Developed & deployed Predictive Maintenance (PdM) Enterprise solutions integrating Equipment Data collection / Sensors (Heat, Vibration, Cycle times), Machine Learning / AI models, Mobile application, notifications, and integrations.
- Hands-on Application Development experience.
- TOGAF, ArchiMate, or other architecture frameworks (Preferred).
- Certifications in MES or ERP platforms (e.g., SAP PP/ME, Rockwell, Siemens) (Preferred).
- PMP or Agile project management certifications (Preferred).
- Specific AWS or Azure Solution Architecture Certifications (Preferred).
Position Requirements:
- Remote position.
- Contract to Perm: Yes; Expense Policy: Local only.
Skill Matrix:
1 Manufacturing / IIoT Solution Architecture Smart factory, IIoT, Industry 4.0 experience.
2 OT/IT Systems Integration MES, SCADA, PLC/HMI/DCS with enterprise platforms such as ERP, PLM, QMS using OPC-UA, MQTT, APIs, middleware, etc.
3 Machine Reliability / Predictive Maintenance IB
Qualifying Questions Mandatory
1 Do you have 10 years of professional experience in IT, systems integration, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture?
2 Do you have at least 5 years of experience working specifically within manufacturing or industrial automation environments?
3 Have you personally worked as a Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect designing manufacturing technology solutions, rather than only implementing or supporting systems designed by others?
4 Have you designed solutions involving shop-floor/OT technologies such as MES, SCADA, PLCs, HMI, DCS, or industrial networking?
