Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently

- Provide excellent customer service by answering patient queries and offering medication guidance within scope of practice
- Ensure all medication labels and documentation comply with legal and safety standards
- Support medication administration processes where applicable, ensuring correct dosage and patient safety
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, transactions, and patient information in accordance with confidentiality policies
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the pharmacy environment
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care and medication management
Requirements
- Proven experience as a pharmacy technician or similar role within a healthcare setting
- Valid certification as a Pharmacy Technician recognised by relevant regulatory bodies
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and patient care principles
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to minimise errors
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
