Position: Director of Finance
Overview: A dynamic fast growing retailer is hiring a Finance Director to drive strategic financial leadership. The ideal candidate will deliver critical financial insights to the executive team (reports, forecasting, budgets, variance, trends, cash flow, sector etc) , represent the company's financial interests to investors and banking partners and will have oversight and quality control with the external accounting vendor relationship and work.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability goals.
- Provide strategic financial insights and reports to support the CEO and leadership team in decision-making.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning processes.
- Act as the primary financial liaison for investors and banking partners.
- Prepare and present financial reports and performance updates to stakeholders.
- Oversee relationship with the accounting vendor to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 7 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Finance Manager or Director)
- Experience required within a multi-unit company (Retail, restaurant, etc.)
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Experience interfacing with investors and financial institutions is highly desirable.
Salary : $155,000 - $175,000
