Financial Director

Position: Director of Finance

Overview: A dynamic fast growing retailer is hiring a Finance Director to drive strategic financial leadership. The ideal candidate will deliver critical financial insights to the executive team (reports, forecasting, budgets, variance, trends, cash flow, sector etc) , represent the company's financial interests to investors and banking partners and will have oversight and quality control with the external accounting vendor relationship and work.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability goals.
• Provide strategic financial insights and reports to support the CEO and leadership team in decision-making.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning processes.
• Act as the primary financial liaison for investors and banking partners.
• Prepare and present financial reports and performance updates to stakeholders.
• Oversee relationship with the accounting vendor to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 7 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Finance Manager or Director)
• Experience required within a multi-unit company (Retail, restaurant, etc.)
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.
• Experience interfacing with investors and financial institutions is highly desirable.
