GSI Diversified is a holding company located in Shrewsbury, MO. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Customer Service person for our ALM Belting & Hose company.
ALM Belting & Hose is a supplier of high-quality industrial rubber and products, lightweight and heavy-duty belting, and custom fabricated parts. Serving customers in industries such as mining, food processing, packaging, material handling, and more. Our companies reputation begins with Customer Service so we are looking for someone who reflects our companies committment to exceptional product quality and responsive service.
Job responsibilities:
- first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and in person
- respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding; lead time, pricing, order status, problems, etc.
- accurately process customer orders, changes, returns, and related documentation
- work closely with production, sales, and other employees to ensure orders are on time
- generate quotes for existing business and assist salespersons as needed
- general admin support including; data entry, billing, mailing, filing, customer follow-up, etc.
- promote a positive customer experience with a focus on maintaining our long standing business relationships
Qualifications:
- prior customer service experience of atleast 3 years in an industrial or manufacturing sector
- excellent verbal and written skills as you will be answering phone calls and sending emails throughout the day
- be organized, others need to be able to find information at your desk
- a lot of collaboration with co-workers but you will work mostly on your own so need someone self-disciplined
- proficient in Microsoft suite of programs, ideal candidate will have experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365
- be positive - be professional every day
- high school diploma
