GSG Protective Services is seeking professional On-Call Unarmed Security Officers to support retail locations, logistics and distribution facilities, and special events.
This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible, as-needed scheduling in dynamic environments. Officers will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and professional atmosphere for staff, clients, visitors, and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high-visibility security presence at assigned locations.
- Monitor and control access points.
- Conduct foot patrols of interior and exterior areas.
- Observe, document, and report unusual or suspicious activity.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
- Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with employees, vendors, visitors, and guests.
- Collaborate effectively with GSG team members and client personnel.
- Complete required reports using company-provided digital reporting systems.
- Follow site-specific post orders and GSG Protective Services policies and procedures.
Scheduling & Availability
- On-call / event-based assignments
- Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts may be available
- Officers must be dependable and punctual when accepting scheduled assignments
Minimum Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid Security Guard Permit as required by state law
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation to various job locations
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods
