What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Construction Foreman – Eastern Idaho position at GSE CONSTRUCTION?
GSE Construction is looking to fill multiple full-time onsite foreman positions in Eastern Idaho. GSE specializes in Wastewater and Water Treatment Plant infrastructure, including Heavy Civil, Concrete, Underground Piping, and Process Mechanical construction. You will play a significant role in driving crews forward, while ensuring accuracy, productivity, and safety are held to exceptional standards. You will have the opportunity to delivery projects to local communities, improving Idaho’s water quality.
General Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct crews in trade specific tasks.
- Collaborate with Project Engineers, and Superintendents to meet project requirements and schedules.
- Read, understand and produce work from construction drawings.
- Responsible for compliance with all quality standards, including submittals and specifications.
- Conduct frequent safety meetings, site inspections, and risk assessments to mitigate jobsite hazards.
- Track task specific man-hours to meet project goals.
Qualifications:
Minimum Five years of construction experience (required).
Previous experience running construction crews as a Foreman within one of the following trades:
- Aboveground Piping/Process Mechanical
- Mechanical Equipment Installation
- Underground Piping
- Civil/Earthwork
- Concrete
Special consideration given to applicants with WWTP/WTP construction experience.
Must pass pre-employment drug test
Job Type: Full-time
Wage ranging from $38 to $45 per hour.
