CAD Drafter

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join our innovative design team. Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks to support architectural, civil, mechanical, and construction projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Sigmanest
• Create precise schematics and technical documentation for mechanical designs, construction plans, and infrastructure layouts.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into accurate CAD models.
• Incorporate client specifications, building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices into all drawings.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback, site conditions, or project modifications to ensure accuracy throughout project lifecycle.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for project submissions, permits, or construction teams.
• Utilize 2D animation techniques when needed to visualize complex systems or processes for presentations or client reviews.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with CAD software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and drafting standards across multiple disciplines.
• Demonstrated ability to produce clear schematics and technical drawings for construction or manufacturing purposes.
• Familiarity with construction processes and building codes relevant to civil or structural projects.
• Knowledge of 2D animation tools for visualizing designs is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Prior experience in drafting for infrastructure projects or mechanical systems is highly desirable.
