G&S Medical Associates is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations on patients.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Prescribe medications and other treatment modalities as appropriate.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and imaging studies.
- Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Stay current with advances in medical knowledge and best practices through continuing education and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner and unrestricted licensure to practice in the state.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other medical software applications.
